Biotop Professional celebrated their site refresh by hosting a “Feed Your Ego” event in our Madison, WI headquarters that highlighted their superfood-powered salon-grade haircare routines. The goal of “Feed Your Ego” was to bring together Midwestern hairstylist and consumer influencers to show them that what’s good for your body is also good for your hair.
“Feed Your Ego” highlighted four product lines: 911 Quinoa , 700 Keratin & Kale, 20 Volumizing Boost and 69 Pro Active Curly. Of note, the 911 Quinoa line is protein-rich, 700 Keratin & Kale is full of antioxidants, 20 Volumizing Boost is packed with collagen, and the 69 Pro Active Curly products are anti-inflammatory. To learn about each line and figure out which products would work best, our guests participated in an intimate “wine tasting.” Groups were led through each product, getting to smell, feel and learn all about them. From hair repair oils to serums to thickening creams and more, there were products for everyone and every hair need.
To partner with the natural haircare routines, snack and drink recipes were crafted to spotlight the same ingredients that are also in the Biotop Professional haircare products. Guests sipped on the 20 Botanical Boost smoothie from local business, Blended, made with banana, pear, ginger, linden bud, and more, all inspired by the 20 Volumizing Boost Routine. To pair with smoothies, there were build your own acai bowls, with too many toppings to choose from.
The Biotop Professional salad station also featured a 911 Glowing Skin quinoa bowl and a 700 savory kale and sunflower seed pesto salad, perfect for the matching product lines. To top it all off, guests enjoyed cocktails and mocktails inspired by superfoods!
Once inside, guests were greeted with a Biotop Professional farmer’s market stand filled with each line’s products and branded bags ready to be filled. After testing and learning about each product in our “wine tasting,” guests could shop the stand and take home the products that hit all of their hair needs. By the end of “Feed Your Ego,” no product was left behind.
And, of course, as influencer-content creators, another favorite was the salon chair photo opportunity.
