“The Bear” star Molly Gordon stopped us in our tracks when she hit the 2025 Emmys red carpet. Her hair worn down and swept back, but loose. It isn’t giving effortless, but it is everything. Volume, shape, you name it. We have celebrity hairstylist Derek Yuen to thank.
Yuen shares, “for the Emmy’s, Molly is wearing a vintage Armani dress. We were all so inspired by the striking stripes and body hugging bodice. As a team, we had discussed an old Hollywood feel while adding a modernity and freshness to the look.” Working with cult-favorite hair tools company Olivia Garden, Yuen’s team generously broke down exactly how he created the look. Get the Look:
- Yuen started by using the Olivia Garden iDetangle Brush on Molly’s damp hair.
- Next, using the SuperHP Hair Dryer on medium speed/medium heat and the Ceramic + Ion Speed XL Round Thermal Brush, Yuen started drying section by section, putting each one into a large velcro roller to set and cool.
- To finish out the look, he released the rollers and used the Ceramic + Ion Supreme Combo Oval Cushioned Paddle Brush to brush out the blowout.
- Lastly, Yuen used the 1 ¼ inch Titanium + Ion Curling Iron to add a few curls in the places that need more of a bend.
