Celebrity makeup artist Zoe Taylor worked with Britt Lower, you know her from “Severance,” for the 2026 Golden Globes and delivered the effortless look that everyone’s going to want to copy. Lucky for you, we asked Taylor how she got the look, and she shared every last detail with us!
Working with ILIA for the Globes, Taylor says, “I loved working with ILIA products, they just melt into the skin, enabling me to sculpt and highlight using texture and form.” Taylor adds, “I wanted Britt’s porcelain skin to be the moment. The eyes have a slightly lived-in softness to keep the look modern, while weightless, hydrating textures create a flawless, hyperreal finish. The new Overglaze Hydrating Lip Gloss was the perfect final step, creating a glossy finish.”
Read on for a breakdown.
Get the Look:
Prep
- “I began with The Cleanse Soft Foam Cleanser to hydrate, soothe and refresh the skin.”
- “Blotting the skin dry I applied The Base Face Milk followed by True Skin Radiant Priming Serum, Bright Start Activated Eye Cream and finally Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream. And a slick of Lip Wrap Overnight Mask.”
Sculpt
- “I smoothed Super Skin Tint SPF30 in Rendezvous ST1 over the entire face and neck and applied True Skin Serum Concealer in Mallow SC.25 where any extra coverage was required.”
- “I gently filled in Britt’s brows with In Full Micro Tip Brow Pencil in Auburn and set them into place using In Frame Brow Gel.”
- “I then pressed the Clean Line Gel Liner in Dusk into the roots of the lash and buffed out to enhance their density. A wash of Eyeshadow Stylus in Flax over the lid and Eye Stylus in Noble into the outer corners. I then patted Overglaze Hydrating Lip Gloss in Crystalline onto the centre of the lid.”
Finishing Touches
- “Finally a brush through of Limitless Lash Mascara in Before Dawn.”
- “A gentle contour under the cheekbones and jaw using Sunshift Cream Bronzer in Eclipse and Lightshift Cream Highlighter in Glint over the cheekbones and down the centre of the nose.”
- “A very tiny flush over the cheeks of Multi Stick in At Last.”
- “I traced the shape of Britt’s lips using Lip Sketch Hydrating Crayon in Untitled being careful to stay true to their shape, and then applied a slick of Overglaze Hydrating Lip Gloss in Crystalline.”
