02/11/2025

Some exciting new updates have just been made to ghd’s global leadership team.

The award-winning British styling tool brand recently announced the appointment of four new senior executives across its operations in America, Australia, Spain, and France—as it intends to continue its ambitious global growth trajectory. With these new appointments, ghd’s global leadership team now includes Thys Niemeyer as the Manager Director of ghd North America (after 13 successful years as Managing Director for ghd Spain), Elena Zuikova as the Managing Director of ghd France and Benelux, Olivia Manjón as the Managing Director of ghd Spain and Portugal, and Stephanie Leathers as the Managing Director of ghd Australia and New Zealand.

This announcement comes as ghd continues to dominate the beauty tech sector, through its ongoing innovation and product launches, which has seen it win 22 prestigious UK beauty awards in 2024 alone, along with its total global awards surpassing 500 accolades for the brand. With 2025, marking almost a quarter of a century since the brand’s creation, ghd plans to heighten its growth acceleration as it leads on producing cutting-edge technology developed by its scientists and product designers in its Research & Development Lab in Cambridge.

These appointments and the extensive experience of this new executive team will further demonstrate ghd’s rich legacy of excellence and innovation, driving the next chapter of success of the beauty hair tech brand across the global territories.

“The appointment of our new global leadership team further cements ghd’s accelerated ambition across these international markets,” said Jeroen Temmerman, CEO at ghd.
