How to Get Mikey Madison’s Dreamy, Center-Parted 2025 SAG Awards Hairstyle

02/23/2025

Mikey Madison has great hair. This is a fact — plain and simple. It’s made even better by frequent collaborator, celebrity hairstylist, Rena Calhoun. Like, for example, at the 2025 SAG Awards, where Calhoun created another show-stopping look. Mikey’s hair was down and center-parted, sleek but not slicked, with the perfect amount of volume and maximum shine. A dream.

“For Mikey‘s SAG look this evening, I was inspired to keep the hair very minimal and clean, letting the dress be the moment. I also wanted to reflect the shine in the fabric within the hair. The key for me today was to get as much shine in the hair as possible,” says Calhoun.

She adds, “the look has a center part that makes it feel effortless. It’s tucked behind the ears very gently on both sides to keep it feeling clean and to draw focus on the bold lip we chose tonight.” Scroll for a step-by-step from Calhoun, who partnered with Hair Rituel by Sisley haircare, to recreate this red carpet hairstyle.

Get the Look:

  1. “Mikey is keen on keeping her hair healthy. I started by prepping her with Hair Rituel by Sisley Volumizing Spray to add body to her roots, and The Cream 230 to protect her hair from high heat styling.
  2. I then blowdried her hair section by section using a Hair Ritual by Sisley boar bristle brush to smooth and create shine.
  3. Mikey has gorgeous, thick hair but for a special occasion like an award show, I like to add a bit of umph!  I chose to work with Remi Cachet (20″ Clip in Deluxe) today as they had the perfect shade and beautiful texture that I felt suited what I needed. With a tail comb, I created a U shaped section starting from directly behind the ears. To secure the clip in piece, I backcombed at the root of the U shaped section and clipped in.
  4. For that added glossy effect, I pumped two pumps of Precious Hair Care Oil into the palms of my hand and very gently ran it through from mids to ends, then tucked both sides behind her ears.
  5. Finally, for all night hold, I finished the look with Invisible Hold Hairspray.”
