Micro bangs had their moment at this year’s Met Gala, but no one did them quite like British actor Jodie Turner-Smith. Working with celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen, who’s fresh off the “Challengers” press tour, the pair debuted a piecey, platinum blonde hairstyle that was part-pixie, part-shag and very chic. Not everyone can pull of the style but Jodie Turner-Smith isn’t just anyone.
Scroll for a detailed breakdown on how this hairstyle came together directly from Ursula Stephen’s team including the Dyson hair tools and Living Proof styling products she used!
Get the Look:
- Ursula started with clean dry molded hair, using the Dyson Supersonic r™ Professional Hairdryer on high heat and air flow settings.
- She added in some sneaky little pieces of extensions to build a tiny Mohawk at the back and cool tendrils around the face.
- She then razor cut the hair.
- Then, she used the Dyson Corrale™ hair styler straightener at medium heat settings and curled the hair in different directions.
- Lastly, she added a few drops of the Living Proof frizz Smooth Styling Serum.
- Using her fingers and the Living Proof Flex Hairspray, she shaped and styled the hair around the face.
