This year’s MTV Video Music Awards may have looked a little different, but that doesn’t mean lewks weren’t served. With a star-studded lineup, including Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion & more, the COVID-safe event saw incredible fashion, hair and glam. Although on the more subtle side, these eight stars gave us major makeup moments.

Another musician making headlines during the show was The Weeknd. Special effects artist Mike Fontaine worked with Mike Marino prosthetics to mimic the musician’s look from his “Blinding Lights” video, which took home the award for Video of the Year.

Megan Thee Stallion

It’s no surprise that Megan Thee Stallion looked incredible at the award show. Similar to her glam for the WAP music video, the rapper actually did her own makeup for the night. We love a woman who can do it all!

Not only did makeup artist Michael Anthony bring it with Ari’s glam, but he also gifted us this glowing pink look from Doja Cat. The “Say So” singer, who took home the award for Best New Artist, looked incredible in her head-to-toe pink ensemble.

Keke Palmer
