Paul Mitchell’s Color Outside The Lines Contest is Back — Here’s How to Enter!

Calling all hair professionals! Paul Mitchell’s Color Outside The Lines Hair Contest is back this year and it’s bigger than before. This time, the competition has five new categories designed for colorists, and the potential for prizes valued at over $2,500, including $1,200 USD and a framed NFT. 

The Color Outside The Lines contest will be accepting entries through February 15th 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST. In order to place an entry, colorists should post on Instagram with the caption #PAULMITCHELLCOLOR, as well as the designated hashtag for the category they wish to be considered for.  This year’s categories are best in blonding (#BESTPMBLONDE), Best Graceful Gray (#BESTPMGRAY), Best Color of the Year (#BESTPMCOLOR), Best Educator (#BESTPMEDUCATOR), and Best Student (BESTPMNEXTGEN). Colorists are also allowed unlimited entries throughout the period that the competition is open. 

The competition is a great opportunity to be noticed by some of the industry’s best talents  who will be serving as judges. This year’s panel includes co-owner of Paul Mitchell, Angus Mitchell, as well as the members of Paul Mitchell’s artistic director team: Stephen Moody, Colin Caruso, Noogie Thai, Paula Peralta, Robert Cromeans and John Mosely.
