Actress and Oscars red carpet host Vanessa Hudgens had a big night. By now we’ve all seen the baby bump, but Hudgens also debuted some serious glam including the perfect glazed ombre nails. Working with celebrity nail artist and OPI Global Ambassador Zola Ganzorigt, Hudgens achieved a long, pointed nail that stood out beautifully against her all back, bump-bearing gown.
“To keep it elegant and classic, I went with some of my go-to OPI shades ‘Bare My Soul,’ ‘Funny Bunny’ and ‘Alpine Snow,’ to create a glazed ombre nail. These shades are all so timeless and chic for manicures, and by layering them together we were able to turn the classic manicure into one that was also modern and eye catching,” said Ganzorigt. - Next, apply two coats of OPI GelColor in “Bare My Soul” for the base.
- To create the ombre tip start by applying one coat of OPI GelColor in “Alpine Snow.”
- Next, layer Alpine Snow with one coat of OPI GelColor in “Funny Bunny.”
- Rub OPI Chrome Effects in “Tin Man Can” onto the nails.
