Redken brought its 51st Symposium back to Las Vegas from June 13-15th, and we had the honor of witnessing thousands of salon professionals unite at the brand’s new home base, Caesars Forum. Among the artists and educators on the Redken Mainstage were Maggie Perry, Jamal Edmonds, Rachel Redd, Sean Godard, Patricia Nikole, and Adrienne Dara, plus more, teaching across the event’s four core themes: The Complete Blonde Story, Elevating the Trends of Today, Connecting to Individuality, and Creating the Next Iconic Trends. All themes followed one philosophy that ran the course of the event – to ignite your passion.
New this year, Redken introduced the Business Forum, giving salon owners and managers dedicated programming on leadership, wellness, and growth that ran alongside — rather than in competition with the education sessions.
“Redken Symposium is one of the most powerful moments for our professional community to come together, share knowledge and inspire the future of our industry,” said Mounia Tahiri, General Manager of Redken USA. “This year’s event is designed to spark creativity and elevate careers, giving stylists the tools, techniques and confidence they need to continue raising the standard of professional hair.”
Day 1:
The Symposium spanned across three days of artistry and education. The first day started off strong with the Education Gallery where attendees could attend live panels, brand booths, live demo classes with educators, and even purchase Redken swag. The night concluded with the Opening Night Welcome which was filled with keynote ambassadors including Sam Villa, recently retired Education Artistic Director, and the debut of the Redken Hair Color Awards to set the tone for the weekend.
Day 2:
Day two included twenty-seven artists and educators who took the Mainstage this year, unveiling a collaboration collection of twenty-seven trend-forward looks meant to carry salon professionals through 2026 and beyond. Each of the four sessions tackled a different pillar of the industry’s direction: modern blonding techniques and color correction, professional takes on today’s biggest trends, hyper-personalized looks built for client retention, and forward-looking trend forecasting.
“Symposium is where the Redken community pushes the boundaries of creativity and education,” Darren Oram added, Vice President of Redken USA. “This year’s mainstage sessions are built around the idea that every stylist has the power to shape trends and transform their clients’ confidence. It’s about celebrating the artist behind the chair.”
The day concluded with the Redken Bash where attendees and educators were celebrated through a night of dancing, live music, and networking before closing out the weekend.
Day 3:
The final day wrapped Symposium with a one last round of Mainstage education alongside the last day of Business Forum programming, which wound down in the evening to give attendees time to head back to the Mainstage for the Closing Celebration, bringing the three days to a close by 5 PM.
The Takeaway
Symposium finished its 51st edition proving why it remains the biggest single-brand hair show in the industry — three days of artistry, education, and connection that left thousands of salon professionals headed home with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a clearer sense of where the industry is headed through 2026 and beyond. It’s a fitting close to Redken’s longstanding education mission: Learn Better, Earn Better, Live Best.
