This week’s episode started our new series on Volume Up by The Tease focusing on mental health within the industry. As an industry that is constantly moving, it is important for us to take some time to focus on the mental health of both our salon pros and our clients. Throughout the series, we will be focusing on different aspects of mental health with this week’s focus being anxiety.
For our week focusing on anxiety, who better to talk with than the founder of Anxiety Cosmetics, Brielle Brown. After struggling with anxiety, it was clear to Brielle what she was going to name her CBD-infused clean beauty company whose products are paraben-free, cruelty-free, vegan, THC Free, and held to high standards. Anxiety Cosmetics is on a mission to start conversations about mental health, beauty, positive self-esteem, and acceptance, but their products are for everyone. A portion of the proceeds of every product sold is donated to help with research, education, care, and raising awareness on Mental Health & disorders.
Brielle gave us a quick rundown on her company and the inspiration behind her name. She also talked about her experience with anxiety and what she does to help manage her anxiety. Brielle made sure to highlight what Anxiety Cosmetics is doing to help fight issues within the beauty industry.
