The Monthly Edit: Every Product Our Editors Loved in February

03/09/2021

As beauty editors, we’re always discovering and trying out fun, new products. While not every hair oil, lipstick, or serum becomes a favorite, the ones that do definitely deserved to be shared with our fellow hair and beauty lovers (i.e. YOU!).

Each month, we’ll be highlighting the products that our editors can’t and won’t stop talking about. Below, see their top picks for the month of February.

Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Jazz Club

“I got this scent in a trio and I absolutely love it! Jazz Club is my favorite scent for an evening out. It’s warm and spicy and I have been getting a ton of compliments!” — Katie Allen, social media coordinator

Shop: Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Jazz Club, $135.00

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System

“I use the three-step skin treatment Effaclar by La Roche-Posay which includes a face wash , a toner, and an acne-targeting cream. I started using it around four years ago and it’s the only thing that keeps my skin clear despite trying other products. I can barely see my pores or any blackheads and I haven’t had a breakout in over a year.” — Jade Bartier Protat, editorial intern

Shop: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System, $29.99

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

“I’ve been obsessed with Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush since I first got my hands on it last year. I had never used a liquid blush before this one, so I was really impressed with how blendable, pigmented, and soft the cheek color is. The formula is super buildable too, so it works well for either a natural makeup look or a full glam moment. Not to mention, it’s vegan and cruelty-free!” — Emily Lentz, beauty features editor

Shop: Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, $20.00

Lele Sadoughi Blush Graduated Pearl Velvet Strand Headband

“I blame Amanda Gorman for my current obsession with pearl headbands. After seeing her rock one at the Super Bowl, I just knew I needed to add one to my headband collection. Though it’s pretty pricey, this pearl crown is such amazing quality and super comfortable to wear. Plus, I love that it dresses up even the most simplest of outfits!” — Camille Nzengung, hair features editor

Shop: Lele Sadoughi Blush Graduated Pearl Velvet Strand Headband, $59.00

GHD Air Hair Dryer

“I’ve been using the GHD Air hair dryer and it is so quick and amazing! It’s been below freezing outside this winter on the East , so going outside with my hair wet after a shower is a hard pass. It takes about 20 minutes to fully dry all my hair using the concentrator nozzle and a paddle brush. It also doesn’t damage my hair or threaten my hair’s integrity whatsoever. It’s my favorite hair tool and I swear by it!” —J.B.P

Shop: GHD Air Hair Dryer, $199.99

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Pore Exfoliating Treatment

“Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate Intensive Pore Exfoliating Treatment is something everyone should have in their skincare routine. Even though it’s a bit expensive, the results of using the exfoliator a couple times a week makes it worth it! After a few weeks of use, my skin feels softer and my pores appear smaller.” — E.L

Shop: Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Pore Exfoliating Treatment, $88.00

Love, Beauty, and Planet Rose Hand Cream

“I’m already a big fan of the Love, Beauty, and Planet body lotions (the argan oil and lavender scent is a personal fave!), so I figured why not give their hand creams a try. My hands have been super dry from all the hand washing due to Covid-19 and this cream has literally been my saving grace. I love the rose scent and how soft it makes my hands feel. Not to mention, this cream is vegan and free of parabens as well as dyes!” —C.N.

Shop: Love, Beauty, and Planet Rose Hand Cream, $5.39

MiniLuxe “Big Poppy” Nail Polish

“With nail salons closed and at limited capacity for the last year or so, my nails have been seriously suffering. Without access to professionals, I’ve been looking for good nails polishes that actually last. MiniLuxe’s polish in the shade “Big Poppy” has been my go-to for the last month or so! It’s a beautiful shade of red that’s easily applied, doesn’t chip and is super long wearing. Plus, it’s non-toxic and comes in a gorgeous bottle.”  —E.L

Shop: MiniLuxe “Big Poppy” Nail Polish, $20.00
