As conversations continue to shift towards greater representation and advocating for Asian lives and the #StopAAPIHate movement is becoming more widespread, we are taking the time to celebrate Asian culture and influence, particularly as it relates to the hair space. Over the last few years, Asian stars like Sandra Oh, Mindy Kaling, Gemma Chan have blessed us up with so many dazzling and truly memorable hairstyles that we feel deserve to be recognized. In the spirit of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite hair looks that Asian celebs have worn to grace the red carpet and our Instagram feeds.

One of the highlights of seeing Vanessa Hudgens serve as a So You Think You Can Dance judge in 2018 was definitely seeing what stunning hairstyle she would rock next.
