The end of a rather interesting awards season is drawing near. The 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on Sunday night and even virtually our favorite stars (and their glam teams) proved that they still have some tricks up their sleeves when it comes to awards night hair.

Like most awards ceremonies this year, the SAG Awards did away with a traditional format. Instead of the live event that we’ve all grown accustomed to over the years, A-listers experienced a hostless, one-hour, pre-taped telecast due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

Of course, this didn’t stop Hollywood’s biggest stars from turning out striking (and Zoom-ready) hairstyles worth obsessing over. From sleek bobs to Old Hollywood waves and chic updos, these hair looks were so good that they definitely deserved an award of their own.

Here, we’ve rounded up our favorite hair looks of the night.

Kerry Washington

We have major heart eyes over this glam beaded Etro cap that hairstylist Johnny Wright styled over Kerry Washington’s locks. It’s what mermaid dreams are made of!

Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling looked radiant in blue sporting glossy, glamorous waves that came courtesy of her hairstylist Patricia Morales.

Zosia Mamet

Zosia Mamet looked stunning as ever with her super deep side part and soft waves. To create this look, her hairstylist Anthony Campbell relied on R + Co Dallas Thickening Spray to prep the hair and R + Co Trophy Shine Spray to finish off her locks.

Kaley Cuoco

For Kaley Cuoco, her hairstylist Clariss Anya Rubenstein dreamed up a cool textured bun that was equal parts feminine and badass. To create this hairstyle, Rubenstein used a line-up of Sexy Hair products.

Jamie Chung

Jamie Chung looked oh-so-glam with her glam waves and blonde money piece styled by her hairstylist Peter Butler.

Maria Bakalova

Maria Bakalova proved that two buns are better than one with this dreamy, textured updo created by hairstylist Patrick Wilson.

Amy Adams

Amy Adams brought casual glamour to the awards show with her effortless waves styled by hairstylist John D.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman served up major hair goals with her effortlessly-messy fishtail braid created by hairstylist Kylee Heath. To create this gorgeous braid, Heath used Olivia Garden’s Divine Wet Detangler Brush and Olivia Garden’s Ceramic + Ion Professional Hair Dryer to prep Kidman’s locks and Olivia Garden’s ESSENTIALS Styling Round Smoothing Brush to add volume. She also used Olivia Garden’s Ceramic + Ion Flat Iron to style the star’s face-framing pieces.

Jurnee Smollett

For Jurnee Smollett’s big night, hairstylist Nikki Nelms gave the star the coolest slicked back bob. We’re so obsessed with this look!

Emma Corrin

Emma Corrin served up ‘90s nostalgia with her center-parted locks and chunky blonde highlights styled by hairstylist Daniel Martin.

Viola Davis

Viola Davis was a vision in green with her super chic bob styled by hairstylist Jamika Wilson.

Nicola Coughlan

Nicola Coughlan’s short and sleek jaw-grazing bob styled by hairstylist Halley Brisker was the perfect complement to her dramatic and vampy beauty look.

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren kept all the attention on her bold red Michael Kors gown and statement jewels by rocking a sleek bun styled by hairstylist Richard Collins.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning turned heads with her tousled bed head waves styled by hairstylist Lorraine Glynn.
