Tricoci University of Beauty Culture’s newest initiative is helping the next generation explore exciting career opportunities in beauty.
The Midwestern cosmetology school recently launched Tricoci Forward, a new brand designed to inspire and engage high school students who are curious about the world of beauty. This program serves as a supportive entry point for young creatives to explore various career paths in the beauty industry, from haircare and skincare to nails, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
Not only will the Tricoci Forward program connect students to Tricoci events and educational resources, but it will also link them to scholarship opportunities and hands-on experiences to support them in pursuing a future career in beauty.
“Tricoci University is not just a beauty school,” said Angela Howard, Regional Director of Admissions and Education Partnerships at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. “This is a university with a holistic approach that is not only skill-based but focused on teaching students how to start a business, build a brand, and grow as confident communicators. Tricoci Forward is about helping the next generation discover their power, creativity, and potential.”
Currently, Tricoci Forward offers a few different ways for students to get involved now, including:
- School Visits: Meet Tricoci University reps at your local high school to learn more about the programs and ask questions
- Events: Attend open houses, fashion shows, and beauty expos to see students in action and explore the campus
- Students & Alumni Connections: Talk to current students and alumni to hear firsthand what a Tricoci University education is really like.
As part of the Tricoci Forward program, Tricoci University is set to host a Next Gen Beauty Camp, which would be a three-day experience for high school juniors and seniors with a passion for beauty. At the camp, attendees will receive special training and mentorship from industry professionals and have the opportunity to showcase their work in a final showcase. This camp will be offered at the Tricoci campuses in Indianapolis, IN; Normal, IL; and Elgin, IL. For those interested in applying, applications are currently open until May 9th with limited spots available.
