Renato Campora Added This Surprise Touch to Finish Amanda Seyfried’s Golden Globes Hair

01/12/2026

Amanda Seyfried, nominated for Best Actress in a Musica/Comedy at last night’s 2026 Golden Globes, has good hair. And a lot of it! So we were a little gagged that she chose to wear it up for the 83rd annual awards show.

Working with celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora, the vibe for her updo was “ethereal, soft beauty with a hint of 1930s inspiration — timeless, polished, and unmistakably golden.” Also, perfection?!

Campora tells The Tease that he added a surprise touch to heighten the things backstage, “For an added sensory experience, I mist the Parfums de Marly Valaya Eau de Parfum on the neck to enhance both the mood and the energy in the room.” Valaya is an elegant floral-musky-woody fragrance created by Julien Sprecher with fresh top notes such as bergamot, mandarin and sweet white peach, that lead to a blend of white flowers, settling on musk and ambrofix sensual base notes.

As part of the actual styling process, Campora shares that, in addition to using Joico care and styling products, he added a mist of the Parfums de Marly Valaya Hair Perfume “onto the ghd Oval Dressing Brush for a subtle fragrance, then carefully brushed out and placed the wave to softly frame the face, blending the extra length effortlessly into the bun.” What a treat!
