Alison Brie’s ’26 Golden Globes Hair Gave Jennifer Aniston Because Her Hairstylist Wanted it That Way

01/12/2026

If you thought Alison Brie’s 2026 Golden Globes hair was giving heyday Jennifer Aniston that’s because her hairstylist, and frequent collaborator, Clariss Rubenstein, wanted you to. All of the hallmarks were there: the color, the length, and that shine.

Rubenstein, who was working with milk_shake last night, tells The Tease, “For Alison’s Golden Globe look I was inspired by Jennifer Aniston in the 90’s. Healthy and chic. I wanted the hair moving, polished, yet effortless and cool.” Keep reading for a breakdown from Rubenstein and team on the exact techniques and products used to capture the essence of a hair icon for another.

Get the Look:

  1. On damp hair, Rubenstein applied milk_shake Blow Dry Primer from roots to ends to create light hold and structure. She then layered milk_shake Incredible Milk  for hydration and protection, followed by a small amount of milk_shake Incredible Oil to enhance smoothness and shine.
  2. After brushing through, the hair was blow-dried using a large round brush to build body and polish.
  3. To create a soft, lived-in texture, a two-inch barrel curling iron was used, with each section pinned to cool and set. Once released, the hair was gently brushed out with a boar bristle brush to enhance balance, shine, and fluid movement.
  4. To finish, milk_shake Lifestyling Extra Strong Hairspray was lightly misted around the bangs and crown to lock in volume and refinement, while keeping the lengths and ends natural and free-moving.
