Mark your calendars, beauty pros, because one of the industry’s biggest days of service is set to return this spring. Beauty Changes Lives has announced that its “One Day. One Ticket” fundraiser will take place on March 21, 2024.
For those who don’t know, “One Day. One Ticket” is the brainchild of respected industry leader and Beauty Changes Lives Board Member, Candy Shaw of Sunlights Professional. With this event, Shaw envisioned getting every individual beauty professional involved by giving them the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of the beauty industry and the lives it touches. She believes that beauty and wellness professionals have the power to change lives and communities for the better, and the Beauty Changes Lives “One Day. One Ticket” event serves as a testament to this belief.
“This event is not just about celebrating the artistry and creativity of beauty professionals; it’s about harnessing that energy to strengthen our community and create opportunities for the next generation,” Shaw said in a press statement. “I am thrilled to announce the date for the 2024 Beauty Changes Lives “One Day. One Ticket” event and invite everyone to join us in supporting the future of our industry.”
In its inaugural year, the “One Day. One Ticket” event raised a whopping $100,000 to support the mission and programs of Beauty Changes Lives. This year, the goal has been raised to $1 million and all of the funds will go towards supporting BCL’s various programs. Throughout the past 10 years, BCL has impacted the lives of over 1,200 beauty and wellness professionals by providing scholarships, mentorship programs, and resources that open doors to a diverse range of opportunities within the beauty industry.
To help guide the success of this year’s event, Beauty Changes Lives has proudly announced esteemed co-chars:
