John Paul Mitchell Systems has announced the appointment of David Stanko as the Technical Director of Hair Color for Paul Mitchell Professional. In this newly created position, Stanko will utilize his hands-on working style to allow for further collaboration between Research & Development, Marketing, and Salon Development.
Stanko brings to the role a deep knowledge of hair color chemistry, real-life salons usage and consumers’ ever-shifting priorities.
He previously worked for hair color start-up Madison Reed as the Vice President of Technical Design and Education. Prior to Madison Reed, Stanko spent more than 20 years working at Redken where he held a number of different roles including hair color consultant for Redken 5th Avenue, spokesperson for Redken’s Art of the Consultation, and Senior Director of Technical Development and Product Development.
His extensive experience combined with Paul Mitchell Professional’s innovation and leadership will ensure that JPMS continues to grow as a global force in hair color.
