At this point, vivid hair may feel evergreen but there’s something special and nostalgic feeling about celebrity and editorial hairstylist Evanie Frausto’s latest collection. Featuring blue and teal shades using the new PRAVANA ChromaSilk Vivids After Hours collection, it’s giving “Blue Christmas” and everyone’s on the naughty list.
Blue and teal aren’t nearly as trendy as pink, this we know. That said, Frausto wants us all to reconsider, saying “To me, blue hair can work for anyone. It’s all about choosing the right tone for you.”
He adds, “PRAVANA offers a beautiful range of blue hues and their new shades are especially fun. Tempted has a gorgeous greenish undertone, while All Nighter delivers a deeper, richer blue.”
Frausto tells The Tease, “For the looks I created, I applied PRAVANA ChromaSilk Vivids in Tempted or All Nighter section by section throughout the natural hair. I let it process for 30 minutes, then shampooed and conditioned with PRAVANA Moisture Marvel to really lock in the color.”
As with any vivid shade, Frausto reminds us “The lighter your clients hair is, the more these colors will pop.”
