Ali Wong made history at last night’s Golden Globes, becoming the first actress of Asian descent to win Best Female Actor – Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture. “The Beef” actress and comedian wore her signature oversize metal frames and her hair in a gorgeous, slicked-back bun care of celebrity hairstylist Clayton Hawkins.
The Tease connected with Hawkins on the inspo as well as the ghd tools he used, including the just-launched ghd chronos styler, and steps he took to create the style. Keep scrolling for more!
“We wanted to compliment her beautiful Dior gown with a simple and elegant low bun.” Hawkins continued, “The Santa Anas are in full effect right now in Los Angeles, so we wanted something wind-proof for such a big night. When doing a simple hairstyle, it’s ALL about the details.”
