If Heckmann has to take on a client last minute, sometimes receiving texts as late as 9 p.m. for a 6 a.m. client, Bellami gets it to her. But your hair and makeup are things you can control.” For her, styling her hair, adding extensions, and putting on a little makeup became a form of self-care, a way to reclaim confidence and feel like herself again postpartum.
