If you haven’t noticed, things are warming up. Yes, summer’s right around the corner, but that’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about the hair trend for Summer ’19: WARM. TONES.
Shades of copper and orange are all over our Instagram feeds, as more and more people are heading to the salon and asking the colorists to heat things up. Throw subtlety out the window. When you make this change, you’re going to turn heads. People will notice. This isn’t your typical balayage or babylights, this is a full-on transformation.
Okay, okay, we get it. It’s a big leap to take. But you wouldn’t be alone! If you search #copperhair on Instagram, you’ll find over 500,000 results. That’s a whole lotta copper. And while a lot of them are everyday people just like you and me, take solace in the fact that there are some celebs jumping on the trend, too. Of course, we’re all aware Emma Stone has been on the bandwagon since her Superbad days, even with transitioning between her signature auburn and natural blonde, but she’s not the only Hollywood star embracing the warm tones.
