Cosmetologists Chicago is welcoming some new faces to their leadership board!
The professional beauty organization recently announced a series of appointments to its new Board of Directors and Officers at the 2021 Annual Business Meeting. These salon owners and industry professionals, who make up the Cosmetologists Chicago Board of Directors, volunteer their time and leadership to develop and guide the association’s services to its members. Such services include continuing education, legislative representation, networking, scholarships, and networking among salon pros.
But, the biggest and most important responsibility handled by the CC Board of Directors is the oversight of all facets of America’s Beauty Show. America’s Beauty Shows brings together thousands of salon professionals, educators, cosmetology students, and over 300 leading manufacturers of salon products and services for three days of beauty, education, and inspiration. The upcoming 2022 show will be held April 9-11 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

“Cosmetologists Chicago is a forward-thinking, action-oriented network with an unlimited future that has a great history in the professional salon industry,” said newly installed CC President Robert Passage. “It is through the continued support of our Board of Directors, all enthusiastic salon owners and professionals, as well as our incredible and dedicated staff, that our association is able to effectively serve the needs of our industry.”
Immediate past-president Karen Gordon couldn’t help but express her excitement about Passage’s appointment as the organization’s president.
“I am thrilled that Robert will succeed me as president of CC,” she said in a statement. “He is a strong asset to our Executive Committee, Board of Directors and, especially, to the thousands of members of Cosmetologists Chicago. Serving as president ofCC has been the pinnacle of my career. I truly thank the Board of Directors for trusting me to have served as president.
