No doubt about it, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City breakout, Lisa Barlow, is an icon complete with a host of catchphrases, including the eternal endearing “baby gorgeous” — and hair deals! For this year’s Las Culturistas Culture Awards she looked it, wearing a power suit, super sleek hair and her signature beat by celeb makeup artist, and content creator extraordinaire, Nikki La Rose-Bonaldi.
Fans of RHOSLC know that Barlow famously prioritizes her glam. La Rose-Bonaldi says, “The best thing about Lisa is how much she loves the entire glam process and truly appreciates the love put into her makeup looks, she’s just the absolute best!”
Read on for a full breakdown on Barlow’s glam with painstaking detail by La Rose-Bonaldi.

Prep
- “I spend a lot of time on skin prep, I first go in and cleanse with BIODERMA micellar water making sure we have a squeaky clean base for hydration and make up to go on top.
- I follow up with two rounds of hydrating toners, first one I use is the Fenty Beauty Fat Water Milky Toner all over her face, including under her eyes down the neck and onto the chest. Followed by Prequel Skin half-and-half, which is a thicker, milky toner, and apply in all the same places.
- After that, a dime size amount of Dieux Instant Angel lipid moisturizer to lock in all the layers of hydration.
- I then go in with the Skyn Iceland gel eye patches to de-puff and firm under her eyes.”
Eyes
- “Lisa loves a signature look which is a sultry brown smokey eye and wing liner. To do her wing I start with a black eyeliner pencil from urban decay then smudge it out, setting it with a dark brown and black eyeshadow. My go to on Lisa is the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes original. It just has every single shade I need to do our signature look.
- For lashes I pretty much always stick to the Ardell 421 lashes, for this event I added a few extra individuals for more drama at each end.”
Face
- “For complexion I mix 2 different formulas and shades from DIOR Forever Matte for longevity and DIOR Forever Skin Glow to give a skin-like look. The combination of each changes depending on her tan at the time.
- For bronzer on Lisa I used the Clé De Peau cream concealer in shades Hazelnut and Coffee and then set with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder Bronzer.
- I’ve tested out SO many concealers for her and my favorite by far on her is the Lancôme Teint Idole ultra wear. It’s thin, long-lasting and looks gorgeous.
- Lisa is not a blush girly but I sneak in a little just for balance, my go to is Fenty Beauty Rosé Latte.
- After setting her under eyes lightly with the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Powder in shade Peach Pie. I dip into all 3 shades in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting ll Palette to set pretty much her entire face, this gives a gorgeous filter like effect.”
Lips
- “For lips I used a combination of cork lip liner from MAC Cosmetics, Makeup Forever Universal Earth and topped it with Ravie Beauty Effortless Lips in shade Lily.”
Finishing Touches
- “To set lisa‘s glam I always use a combination of Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush and top it with a generous amount of the OneSize On ‘Til Dawn.”
