After disrupting the haircare world with its innovative bond-building technology, Olaplex has now set its sights on conquering the eyelash category.
As of this month, the haircare leader has officially launched its first eyelash growth treatment, the Lashbond Building Serum. This clear, lightweight lash serum, which retails for $68, promises longer, thicker, stronger, and healthier-looking lashes in as little as four weeks. And while the Lashbond Building Serum marks the Olaplex’s first product outside of traditional haircare, fans of the brand will be happy to know that it utilizes the same science and technology that we’ve all come to know and love.

Not only is Lashbond designed with the brand’s patented bond-building technology, but the serum also debuts the brand’s new peptide complex technology, a proprietary blend that supports natural lash-growth cycle, lash retention, and the appearance of longer, fuller lashes. Furthermore, this lash growth treatment is powered by nourishing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and biotin which are meant to condition skin and lashes.
And while others lash serums may cause irritation or discomfort, Olaplex’s Lashbond is gentle enough for twice daily use, suitable for all skin types, and compatible with contacts, lash lifts, lash extensions, and false lashes. In fact, its formula is free of sulfates, phthalates, parabens, gluten, silicone, prostaglandin, and is vegan and ophthalmologist tested.
To ensure that Lashbond would be able to safely target the five top lash concerns (lash length, volume, density, loss and shedding, dry and brittle lashes, and lack of natural lift and curl) without unwanted effects, the serum was vetted by professionals and clinically tested.

With that said, the application of the serum is rather simple. To use, simply swipe Lashbond along the upper lash line of both of your eyes each morning and night, allowing it to dry for 90 seconds. Then, just let the serum work its magic! With regular use, in a matter of two to three weeks, you’ll already start to notice thicker, healthier-looking lashes.
My Review of Lashbond
Speaking for myself, I had never used a lash serum before I was given the opportunity to test our Olaxplex’s Lashbond serum in late February. I have short, stubby, and pretty nonexistent lashes and I wasn’t really aware of the benefits of using a lash serum or if it would really even work for me. But, after using the last serum morning and night for well over a month, I’ve noticed such a massive change in my lashes—they’re longer, thicker, and have way more of a curl. Not to mention, they don’t shed as much which is definitely a plus because before I felt like I was always losing lashes. For me, I really appreciated that there was no irritation when using this serum and the formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue. I think anyone could really benefit from giving Lashbond a try.
