Pedicures Fit for the Queen Herself: Meet Oprah’s Pedicurist, The Foot Nanny

06/15/2021

Last week’s guest on Volume Up was Gloria L. Williams, CEO of The Foot Nanny. Gloria told all, from starting off giving foot massages in the suburbs of Chicago, to working with all sorts of celebrities, to a freelancer at The Oprah Winfrey Show, to working with women out of Barrington, IL.

Gloria went in depth on how Oprah Winfrey found her and took a chance on her, including Gloria being her only pedicurist and sending Gloria to her friends for pedicures. Along the way, Gloria obtained lots of advice from different individuals including Oprah and made a life long friend.

Throughout the podcast, Gloria gave insight on how her name came to be and where her career went once The Oprah Winfrey Show closed. She disclosed how she thought of all her products and their different subsets once her brand was underway.

Don’t miss out on hearing Gloria give all of her tips to becoming a successful entrepreneur as well as bringing all the energy to this fun interview!

“They truly believed with the touch. If they touched you, you felt better.”

“If I hadn’t worked there, I wouldn’t have been able to handle Oprah Winfrey level. By me working there, meeting all these celebrities, you know Jay Z, the Dixie Chicks, the White Sox, the New York Yankees. I mean if they had a foot we did them.”

“I hadn’t even heard of nanny’s till I went out there”

“Go with what you feel that you love to do, not because someone else did it”
