Mousse has a reputation problem. RŌZ, the clean haircare line from founder and celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak, is tackling that exact complaint with its newest launch: RŌZ Milk Hair Styling Mousse.
The mousse is the first line extension of RŌZ’s Milk Hair collection, built off the success of the brand’s Milk Hair Serum, a 3-in-1 hydrating leave-in treatment. The new formula brings that same hydration-first approach to a foam styling product designed for full blowouts, air-dries, and defined curls — minus the crunch.
More About the Mousse
At the center of the formula is a Soft Memory Complex polymer that creates shape and movement with flexible hold, working with hair’s natural texture instead of locking it in place. RŌZ says the mousse improves hair smoothness by 82%, supporting stronger, more resilient strands over time.
It’s also infused with the same signature ingredients found in the brand’s serum, including Hyaluronic Acid, Red Algae, and BotaniComplex™, along with two new additions built specifically for this formula:
- Pea Peptide, an antioxidant-rich plant protein that delivers essential hydration
- Soft Memory Complex, which creates memory, hold, and touchable shape so styles stay softly defined with natural movement
Roszak, who’s been behind the chair for more than two decades, shares, “As a hairstylist of over 20+ years, I’ve tried every mousse formula, and they all often felt crunchy, stiff, heavy, and hard to work with. RŌZ Milk Styling Mousse is so lightweight, hydrating, while also strengthening and volumizing with a hold that allows your hair to move. It has a soft strength. All the hold, none of the weight.”

The mousse works for every hair type, from fine to curly, and is made for two very different audiences — air-dry minimalists who want their texture supported rather than overworked, and blowout lovers who need grip and memory without stiffness or residue. RŌZ recommends pairing it with Milk Hair Serum on damp hair for a hydrated base, Root Lift Spray at the roots for lasting volume, or Santa Lucia Styling Oil once hair is dry for shine without disrupting hold.
Like the rest of the RŌZ lineup, the mousse is color-safe, vegan, and free of parabens, phthalates, SLES, gluten, nuts, and synthetic dyes.
