Fall has officially arrived, and we all know what that means: pumpkin spice season is upon us. What started out as a simple fall beverage has since blossomed into a full-blown craze in the last few years—one that has infiltrated nearly every aspect of our lives.
That’s right. It isn’t enough to just drink a pumpkin spice latte anymore. These days, we’re eating pumpkin spice-flavored foods, lighting pumpkin spice candles, and even using pumpkin spice beauty products. Is it any wonder that our collective pumpkin spice addiction has now literally gone to our heads?
If you’ve been anywhere on Instagram in the last few weeks, you may have noticed that a select number of our favorite celebrities have decided to give their locks a seasonal makeover that’s heavily inspired by fall’s favorite drink. Dubbed “pumpkin spice hair”, this autumn-approved look is a close cousin to the copper hair trend that ruled over the summer— it’s just as bold and bright, but characterized by more softer and lighter tones of red, copper, and auburn.
And, considering the fact that we are only just days into the fall season and stars like Saweetie and Rowan Blanchard have already debuted pumpkin spice dyed locks, it’s fair to say that this hair color trend will be sticking around for quite a while.
