Recreate ‘White Lotus’ Scene-stealer Sabrina Impacciatore’s SAG Awards Hair

02/27/2023

Mamma mia! ‘White Lotus’ breakout star and veteran Italian actress Sabrina Impacciatore brought European effortlessness to last night’s SAG Awards red carpet thanks to her mane of perfectly undone hair by Clariss Rubenstein. Rubenstein, whose other clients include Alison Brie, Eiza González, Rosario Dawson, Amy Poehler and more, created the total compliment to Impacciatore’s electric pink Valentino gown. Anything else would have been fussy or inauthentic. Scroll for Rubenstein’s tips!

“I was beyond thrilled to be working with Sabrina for the SAG awards. She’s got such a great look and style I couldn’t wait to see what she’s wear. Her dress was a gorgeous bright pink custom couture  Valentino. Keeping true to her elegant yet easy style we decided to pair the gown with natural, wavy, undone hair,” said Rubenstein.

Get the Look

  1. I prepped hair with Nexxus Unbreakable Care Root Lift Thickening Spray ($15.99) for touchable volume on the roots and added some Crown Affair Oil ($40.00) to the mids and ends.
  2. I blow dried with a big round brush, using only my fingers for the bangs.
  3. I then alternated 1 inch and 1.25 inch barrel curling irons, changing directions each curl.
  4. After her entire head was curled I combed it with my fingers as to not make it too perfect, added Davines This Is A Dry Texturizer spray ($39.00) and finished with a light mist of Kevin Murphy Session Strong Hold Finishing Spray ($34.00) for light flexible hold.

As Rubenstein said, “It also doesn’t hurt that she’s got great hair!” We’d argue some of the best in the ‘biz.
