On December 1st, beauty brand and beloved store Sephora announced an exciting new venture. The company has teamed up with Kohl’s for a long-term partnership that will bring a brand-new beauty experience to the department store. Per the terms of the deal, two hundred “Sephora at Kohl’s” locations will open in fall 2021. 850 more are set to open by 2023. The news comes just three weeks after competing beauty store Ulta announced their partnership with Target.
The new Sephora at Kohl’s installments will not only elevate the shopping experience, but they will also provide customers with the beauty brands and products they love in a more accessible way.
“At Kohl’s, Sephora will offer customers its signature Sephora experience, with a unique range of makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance brands. The stores will also deliver Sephora innovations in clean beauty and self-care,” the brand explained in a press release. “Sephora’s high-touch customer engagement will prominently feature testing and discovery zones that serve up a rotating assortment of new, emerging or trending products, surprising and delighting customers every time they shop.”
Replacing the department store’s current beauty offerings, Sephora at Kohl’s will span a 2,500 square foot space easily located at the front of each store. Sephora-trained Beauty Advisors will offer consultations as well as share their deep knowledge and expertise of Sephora brands.
In addition to the in-store feature, Kohls.com will also exclusively showcase Sephora’s expansive product lineup. And all purchases will be eligible for Sephora’s renowned Beauty Insider reward program.
