As beauty editors, we’re always discovering and trying out fun, new products. While not every hair oil, lipstick, or serum becomes a new favorite, the ones that do definitely deserved to be shared with our fellow hair and beauty lovers (i.e. YOU!).

Each month, we’ll be highlighting the products that our editors can’t and won’t stop talking about. Below, see their top picks for the month of October.

{save} skincare Hydrating Facial Cleanser

“This cleanser literally changed my skin. I’ve never been so impressed with a skin care line and love everything from {save}. The cleanser, Ultra-Light Moisturizer, and Anti-Pollution Vit C Booster are all main-stays in my routine. I’m not sure I’ll ever switch brands again!” — Darby Hoffman, beauty writer

Plaine Products Shampoo + Conditioner

“This shampoo and conditioner combo is a game-changer. Not only does it come in reusable aluminum bottles, but the product itself is SO good. It lathers very nicely, it smells amazing, and it makes my hair feel super soft and shiny every time I wash it. Not to mention, the products are designed to biodegrade, and all ingredients are vegan.” — Emily Lentz, beauty features editor

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water

“Ever since I was first introduced to this micellar water by one of my fave influencers, I have never looked back. For those who don’t know, micellar water is the ultimate cleanser for lazy-girls like myself who want to remove make-up, cleanse, and tone all in one. This cleansing water, in particular,  is gentle on the skin and free of alcohol, oils, and fragrance, so it’s sensitive-skin friendly. Not to mention, I’m a sucker for anything that comes in a pretty shade of pink.” — Camille Nzengung, hair features editor

Shop: Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water, $8.99

Ethique “Frizz Wrangler” Solid Shampoo

“I’ve been making the swap to package-free products and loving my hair & body washes from Ethique. The Frizz Wrangler is super soft, smells delicious and lathers up wonderfully for cleansed, but not stripped hair. It takes a little practice to get used to working with the product in your hands, but it’s definitely worth it to save the planet (and my hair).” — D.H.

Shop: Ethique “Frizz Wrangler” Solid Shampoo, $15.00

Versed Skin Soak Moisture Cream

“This moisturizer is the best I’ve ever used! I have combination skin, so finding a good one can be difficult. But this formula perfectly moisturizes any dry areas on my face without making me look greasy. Plus, it gives my skin a nice refresh and leaves it feeling hydrated and revitalized.” — E.L.

Shop: Versed Skin Soak Moisture Cream, $17.99

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask

“I never understood the need for a good eye cream until I started using this eye mask. It has the most deliciously-creamy formula that’s similar to a well mashed avocado in consistency. I deal with dry skin around my eye area and a little bit of this goes a lot way in providing the hydration that I need. Applying this mask has been the favorite part of my nighttime skincare routine because I know I’ll be waking up to baby-soft eyelids.” — C.N.

Shop: Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask, $42.00

Versed “Guards Up” Sunscreen + IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream

“This foundation combo is the best I’ve found for my skin. I’ve always loved the CC+ Cream — it gives great coverage and has feel-good ingredients my skin loves. But, paired with the “Guards Up” Sunscreen, it adds even more protection and forms a super blendable consistency that hides my discoloration without being too heavy. I add just a dot of the CC+ Cream to the sunscreen and apply with my hands for an even, healthy glow!” — D.H.

Shop: Versed “Guards Up” Sunscreen, $21.99 + IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream, $39.50

Neutrogena Pore Refining Face Toner

“I started using this toner a couple of months ago, and my skin is seriously thriving from it. My pores are smaller, and my complexion is clearer than ever. Toners have a tendency to dry my skin out, but this one doesn’t. Instead, it softens my face and provides the perfect base for my moisturizer.” — E.L.

Shop: Neutrogena Pore Refining Face Toner, $6.79

slip Pink Knot Headband

“I love a good headband and this one by Slip is one of the best I’ve tried! Not only is it ridiculously-cute, but it’s silky material doesn’t damage or crease my curls at all. Plus, it’s super stretchy and comfortable (no headband headaches!), even if you’re wearing it all day.”  — C.N.

Shop: slip Pink Knot Headband, $69.00
