When it comes to Wella Professionals and their Color Touch line, the color offerings keep getting better and better. Last month, the beloved hair color brand introduced four delicious new shades — just in time for fall.
The latest additions to the brand’s demi-permanent color line include cool reds (8/35, 9/75, 10/34, and 8/41) that are perfect for achieving the copper look that has been trending this season.
According to Wella Professionals Global Creative Artist Sonya Dove, these shades are not only universally flattering but also super easy to apply.
“These four Color Touch shades are amazing because you can give clients options for going from summer to fall,” she explained. “You can customize within the range by going lighter front to darker back or even a root shadow of the 8/41 and alternate the other three shades all the way through the head. The opportunities are endless!”

Cool Copper
Boston balayage specialist Amanda Leaman served up major pumpkin spice feels with this gorgeous copper hue. To achieve this stunning look, she glossed her client’s pre-existing balayage with Color Touch shade 10/34 and a little bit of shade 8/41.
Cinnamon Balayage
For her client, Pennsylvania colorist Nina Argento-Pollock leaned into this fall’s cinnamon balayage trend by adding autumnal dimension with some red-bronze tones. To achieve this warm look, she first lightened the hair to a level 8-9 and then toned with Color Touch shade 8/35 45g and 8/41 15g with 4% developer for 15 minutes.
