After months as a redhead, actress, beauty icon and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson has officially returned to her signature, iconic blonde. Anderson debuted her new-again platinum shade at last night’s 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards, stepping onto the red carpet with luminous blonde hair styled by frequent collaborator John Nollet.
Anderson’s look was created using Biolage at every step, maintaining the health, shine, and radiance of her newly reclaimed blonde. Importantly, ICYMI, Anderson is the face of Biolage Professional Hair Spa. For last night’s show, Nollet styled Anderson’s hair in an elegant and bouffant inspired by her mother in the garden, created with Biolage products to highlight healthy-looking hair with soft movement and luminous shine. Anderson explains, “cinema is my biggest influence – I’m always influenced by old movies, but this look is inspired by my mother in the garden. She always used to wear this messy bouffant with her gardening gloves and rolled up jeans and it was always so effortless and chic. This is a much more polished version but the look is a modern bouffant which I think is really fun.”
Nollet, clearly on the same wavelength, says, “my inspiration came from the golden age of movies, ones that make me dream of a glamourous Hollywood – Fellini, Hitchcock, etc. It’s always about how to make hair shine with a beautiful healthy texture.” He adds, “For Pamela, I wanted to create an effortless Fresh twist — a chignon for an iconic woman who inspire me.”
