We’re still not sure what Vogue World is — and we won’t look into it! — but we do know that it brought the stars out on a Sunday night. One of them being, Lizzo. And she looked amazing.
Celebrity hairstylist Ashanti Lation gave Lizzo a modern, bombshell bob, that was full of body and movement. Easily one of the night’s best looks, on or off the runway.

- “I used two of my favorite styling tools from RED by Kiss to build this glam bob that brought vintage elegance into the now. I started by prepping Lizzo’s natural hair and extensions with a lightweight heat protectant to shield her strands from thermal styling. This is key to preserving silkiness and bounce while still getting definition and hold.
- To lay the foundation, I used the RED by Kiss Heat Real Brush to detangle and smooth the hair. This heated brush helps stretch the strands without flattening them, perfect for building that lifted volume at the roots.
- Next, I went in with the RED by Kiss Electric Round Brush. The rotating heated barrel allowed me to create full, plush curls with a vintage shape. I focused on curling under and back, then used light backcombing at the crown to build structure and drama.
- Once set, I finger-combed the curls and used a tail comb to sculpt them into a bob with a defined wave pattern structured, but still soft. I finished with a light mist of shine spray and a firm-hold spray at the roots and nape to lock everything in without stiffness.”
