Beyoncé’s Haircare Line Cécred is Set to Launch at Ulta Beauty This Spring

02/20/2025

Beyhive, get excited—Beyoncé is making her haircare line Cécred more accessible than ever.

Just one year after Cécred made its official debut, the brand has announced its first ever retail partnership with Ulta Beauty, the nation’s largest beauty retailer. As a result, beginning April 6th, the brand will be bringing its award-winning products to over 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores nationwide, as well as online.  This means that Ulta shoppers will finally be able to shop Cécred’s entire Foundation Collection—including the bestselling Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner and their latest breakthrough, the Restoring Hair & Edge Drops—while racking up their Ulta Reward points.

Not only does Cécred’s expansion into Ulta coincide with the brand’s one year anniversary, but it also marks the biggest exclusive hair launch in the retail giant’s history.

Discussing the new retail partnership, Beyoncé said in a statement to WWD, “ In the past year, we’ve helped so many make a deeper connection with their hair, building a community that redefines what a typical hair care brand looks like. Our historic partnership with Ulta Beauty represents a meaningful milestone in our journey of getting Cécred in the aisles and salons nationwide for everyone to experience.”

With this exclusive retail partnership, Ulta shoppers can expect a pronounced in-store promotional presence as well as a first-of-its-kind integration with Ulta’s salons.

“Having 1,450 stores in 50 states with 44 million active Ulta Beauty loyalty reward members, and our unwavering commitment to amplifying BIPPC founders, we’re positioned to bring Cécred to the masses,” said Kecia Steelman, Ulta Beauty’s new CEO, in a statement to WWD. “It’s going to be very prominent, front-and-center with life-sized fixtures and bottle amplification. We’re going to amplify this in a way that we’ve never done before in our salons. It’s going to be a total 360-degree approach.”

Steelman continued, saying, “One of the things that tied us to Cécred is the story of Beyoncé sweeping up hair in her mom’s salon. Beauty is generational, hair is generational, and we have that shopping experience at Ulta Beauty with daughters, mothers, and grandmothers. When you have that coming together with what our view of the consumer is, that’s when magic happens.
