The #festivalhair at Coachella ’23 (weekend one) did everything but disappoint. Indio fully embraced individuality with concert-goers changing up their looks in drastic ways between days — celebs being no different. We chatted with hairstylist to the stars Dimitris Giannetos, who executed some of these mind- blowing transformations, including for supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.
“For Alessandra’s third day at Coachella, I decided to give her extra long and glossy bone straight hair,” says Dimitris.

- Starting on towel-dried hair, I applied UNITE’s U Oil ($49.50), which gives beautiful shine and protects the hair from humidity-causing desert frizz, then blow dried the hair smooth.
- Before using my flat iron, I sprayed 7SECONDS Glossing Spray ($33.00) for thermal protection and extra shine.
- I then parted the hair down the middle and finished the look with SESSION-MAX Spray ($33.00) to tame flyaways and lock in the style. I’m obsessed with this product.
