Back in May, fans of Kylie Jenner were shocked when Kylie Cosmetics shut down their website and wiped their Instagram feed except for one cryptic post captioned, “something is coming.” After waiting over a month in anticipation, the brand finally revealed what we’ve been waiting for. Kylie Cosmetics is relaunching with new versions of their beloved products, including lip kits, lip gloss, eye liners and more.
Jenner took to Instagram to share with her followers what the clean slate means for the brand. “As some of you may have noticed, my @kyliecosmetics website has been shut down for a little makeover,” the realty tv star turned makeup mogul wrote. “I started my makeup line when I was just 17 and I felt it was time to elevate and join the VEGAN and CLEAN family. I’ve been working hard to create the newest innovative formulas for you guys and I’m sooo excited to share with you all soon!”
Clean beauty lovers will be thrilled to learn that the new formulas are vegan, cruelty-free and “ready to go global.” The brand has even banned a list of over 1,600 ingredients, including parabens and gluten.
While the Kylie Cosmetics site remains empty for now, many of the newly formulated products have been revealed on the brand’s Instagram. The new High Gloss comes in 30 shades, is non-sticky and gently softens lips. The ultra-creamy Gel Eyeliners go on smoothly and last all day without smudging. And the brand’s infamous Lip Kits are better than ever with a new matte formula that’s comfortable, long-lasting and contains skin-loving ingredients.
