Florals for SS21? Rodarte’s Latest Collection Proves They Actually Are Groundbreaking

09/23/2020

New York Fashion Week may have looked a little different this year, but that didn’t stop the top brands from serving some of the best Spring/Summer collections we’ve ever seen. One high-end fashion brand, Rodarte, brought romantic California vibes to their presentation. Designed by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the entire shoot feels like stepping into a piece of art, and each elevated shot captures the beauty of the California desert.

Photographed by Daria Kobayashi Ritch and produced by Connect The Dots Inc, the shoot perfectly presents the new ready-to-wear gowns, sweaters and matching sets. The deserted location and unapologetically feminine pieces play to the vibes of the brand, which was unsurprisingly founded in California. With hairstyling by Rachel Lee, glam by Uzo and real florals supplied by Los Angeles florist Joseph Free, each piece is beautifully displayed.

Here are twelve looks from Rodarte’s SS21 line that we can’t stop thinking about.

Model Fernanda Oliveira is a vision in green as she steps into the trees. Her dark, pouty lip perfectly contrasts the light colors of her ‘fit, and we are loving it!
