Kate started her career as a stylist, however, this wasn’t her only passion. From early on, she knew that educating clients and fellow stylists was her true calling. Kate discussed that she has always thrived on the warm feeling of teaching someone something new.
Transferring the knowledge she gained from working behind the chair into education happened quite seamlessly for Kate, and before she knew it, she was travelling around the globe teaching professionals all about KEVIN.MURPHY. Kate has been instrumental in shaping education strategies and her insights are frequently sought after by top media and fashion outlets.
Kate explained on this week’s episode how her first passion project with KEVIN.MURPHY was COLOR.ME, a line centered around multi-tonal results, and consistent color function. When it came to CODE, Kate and her team strategized every detail, with the objective of giving stylists what they wanted. From emphasizing the power of skincare to utilizing new groundbreaking technology, CODE is bringing a color line to the market that stylists have been begging for.
With the launch of KEVIN.MURPHY+CODE looming there is an abundance of knowledge waiting to be shared. Kate has officially announced her North America, Hair’s The Thing Tour, which will cover 11 cities.
