If there was ever a time to level up your financial literacy, the time is now. With all of the havoc that COVID-19 has wreaked on the salon industry, it is crucial to stay informed on how to make important financial decisions that are relevant to your business. One brand that is doing their part to help stylists with financial guidance is John Paul Mitchell Systems.

On October 16th, the professional hair company announced a partnership with online learning site, Qnity, to offer financial education programs to salon professionals. With this latest venture, JPMS hopes to expand its current offering of online business-building resources.

“We are thrilled to add Qnity to the lineup of amazing salon business-building resources offered by John Paul Mitchell Systems,” said Kristin Firrell, JPMS Vice President of Salon Development, in a press statement. “There has never been a more important time to take full control of your finances, and Qnity provides a very visual, easy-to-understand system for growing your business and profits and managing your money.”

For those who aren’t familiar with Qnity and its services, their award-winning educational tools have helped thousands of salons and spas across the world. The company provides simple and visual online resources that assist individuals with learning to navigate financial decisions with confidence.

With the partnership, JPMS Perks members will have the opportunity to use their points towards two financial programs: Plan for Profits and Plan to Prosper. The Plan to Prosper program guides participants on how to earn more money and increase their sales while the Plan for Profits program assists participants with increasing their cash flow and plan for the future.

“Now more than ever, the sustainability of salons relies on businesses and individuals leveling up their financial and business acumen. We provide trusted and scalable training, support, and guidance through our two core programs: Plan for Profits for leaders, and Plan to Prosper for individuals and teams,” said Tom Kuhn, Qnity Founder and CEO. “We are excited and grateful for our partnership and we can’t wait to bring these courses to the Paul Mitchell family! Together, let’s help level up the financial prosperity for the professional industry at large.”
