L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division (PPD) has made several strategic leadership appointments across some of its most influential brands: Redken, Color Wow and L’Oréal Professionnel. These moves underscore the division’s continued investment in innovation, education, category leadership, and long-term growth within the salon professional industry landscape.
Mounia Tahiri named General Manager, Redken US

Following her high-impact tenure leading L’Oréal Professionnel, Mounia Tahiri steps into the general manager (GM) role at Redken. Tahiri brings over a 20-year track record across both consumer products division (CPD) and PPD, spanning marketing, commercial strategy and transformational cross-functional leadership. She previously led Matrix US Haircare, built the PPD Ulta team and its omni-channel growth model, grew Biolage to double-digit gains, and most recently served as GM of L’Oréal Professionnel — crossing the $100M threshold and bringing tech-forward initiatives like the AirLight Pro to market. Tahiri now takes the helm of Redken as the brand expands its professional relevance, education ecosystem, and cultural influence.
Guillaume Duez named General Manager, Color Wow

With the close of L’Oréal’s acquisition of Color Wow, Guillaume Duez will lead the brand alongside founder and CEO Gail Federici. He brings deep PPD experience across the DMI, marketing, and GM roles, including propelling Kérastase and Shu Uemura to more than 4x growth and elevating Redken to the #1 rank in Circana and Haircare Brand of the Year at Ulta. Duez’s leadership will guide Color Wow through a phased integration while maintaining the brand’s creative spirit and momentum across styling and problem-solution innovation.
Julie Fortier named General Manager, L’Oréal Professionnel

Most recently leading the division’s education transformation, Julie Fortier has been instrumental in modernizing PPD’s education systems, building digital foundations, developing transversal structures, and expanding reporting and KPIs across brands. Prior to joining the U.S. team, she spent 18 years at L’Oréal Canada, including as GM for Kérastase and Shu Uemura where she doubled the business in three years. Her blend of commercial expertise, digital vision and education depth positions her to accelerate L’Oréal Professionnel’s growth and strengthen its salon partnership strategy.
L’Oréal USA believes these appointments reflect PPD’s continued focus on strengthening brand leadership, deepening stylist engagement, and driving global relevance through education, innovation and omnichannel expansion.
