Making Good on its Promise
While other beauty brands implement great sustainable practices, Plaine Products is one of the few that was actually founded on the goal to eliminate the world’s need for single-use plastics. All Plaine Products are housed in aluminum bottles so they can be reused and more easily recycled. Plus, they use eco-friendly packaging made out of 95% post-consumer waste and 5% post-industrial waste.
Plaine Products also offers a refill program to help customers practice sustainability. It goes like this: once their products are running low, customers simply order a refill, and Plaine sends replacement bottles. The customer then transfers the pumps from their old bottles to the new ones. Then, they send the empty bottles back to Plaine so they can be reused. (Pro tip: customers can also set up a subscription with a 10% discount so that refills are sent automatically).
In addition to their sustainability practices, Plaine also ensures that their products are universal: safe for babies, children and even pets.
