Big news from Redken. Officially, as of this year, Sean Godard is the new Redken Global Director of Artistic Development, Color and Brayden Pelletier is the new Redken Global Director of Artistic Development, Design. Importantly, Sam Villa will continue to be the brand’s Artistic Global Ambassador and will work alongside Godard and Pelletier across all areas of Redken Education.
Of these new roles, Darren Oram, Vice President Redken Education US, says, “It’s crucial to anticipate the future and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our industry and remain a trailblazer and relevant. As we write the next chapter together, we will build upon everything that makes Redken Education unique, using it as a foundation to elevate our future missions. We’ll also explore new and innovative ways to inspire, surprise, and delight our current customers, while attracting even more hair professionals to the Redken family.” He added, “[Godard, Pelletier and Villa] will work closely with myself in the US and with all other countries to help shape the future as we continue in our mission to help hairdressers learn better, so they can earn better and ultimately live best – and this starts with The Redken Power Network.”

Get to Know Sean Godard
Based out of Brooklyn, New York, Godard is an in-demand editorial and session colorist and finisher. He is a 3-time NAHA winner — 2019 Team of the Year, 2022 and 2024 Hair Colorist of the Year. His work has appeared in Fashion and Industry magazines around the world. He has worked on ad campaigns for Redken 5th Ave, Ulta Beauty and many other designers and various fashion and lifestyle brands. Godard has appeared as a regular make-over expert on popular TV shows. He has worked backstage with many major celebrities at the MTV Video Music Awards both in NYC and LA.
His celebrity clients include Emma Stone, Lindsay Lohan and many more. Godard is one of the top colorists in the Redken Global network with over 18 years with Redken and is also a member of the Ulta Beauty Pro Team.
Meet Brayden Pelletier
Pelletier is a renowned hair stylist, educator, and the visionary founder of Just B Hair Salon in Atlanta, with two thriving locations and over a decade of success. He entered the hair industry at just 16 and has since become a Global Redken Artist, teaching classes worldwide in cities such as Berlin, London, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm, and Toronto. Pelletier has also been a fixture at Redken’s prestigious academy, the Redken Exchange in NYC, for more than 15 years.
His expertise extends to styling hair at New York Fashion Week, working for top designers like Marc Jacobs, Diesel, and Prada, and for MTV’s VMA events. As a finalist and winner of numerous international hairdressing awards, Pelletier’s most recent accomplishment is being named the 2024 NAHA Master Hairstylist of the Year.
