Sade Milinda Shares the Products Behind Ciara Miller’s ‘Bridgerton Baddie’ Met Gala Hair

05/06/2026

Ciara Miller could have gone anywhere with her 2026 Met Gala look (we all know she has the range). Where she landed? We’re calling it Bridgerton Baddie.

Her longtime hairstylist, Sade Milinda, says, “We wanted to create a modern Victorian era inspired style…” — and even though Bridgerton is technically Regency era, it just feels like, spiritually, this look is right at home in Shondaland. A compliment!

She adds the goal was “soft, voluminous waves with structure, movement, and a perfectly undone yet polished finish to fit Ciara’s aesthetic.” Beautifully set but still unbothered.

Knowing Miller was working the Met Gala carpet with E!, Sade Milinda used Nexxus Haircare products to ensure the bounce would last on camera.

Ciara Miller says, “Getting ready for the Met Gala is all about the details, and my hair needed to match the boldness of the look. Nexxus Air Shape Workable Hold Texture Spray helped create that airy volume and movement without losing the softness.” Read on for the exact Nexxus Haircare products Sade Milinda used to lock in the look.

Get the Look:

  1. “We began by prepping the hair with the Nexxus Comb Thru Flexible Hold Hairspray to set the foundation while maintaining flexibility, then created voluminous waves with lift and body.
  2. Once the curls were set, we applied the Nexxus Repair & Nourish Ultra Lightweight Hair Oil to separate the curls while adding shine and softness without weighing the hair down.
  3. We then used the Nexxus Air Shape Workable Texture Spray to brush out and sculpt the waves, allowing us to refine and shape the look before placing the headpiece by Jennifer Behr.
  4. To finish, we locked everything in with Nexxus Maxximum Hold Hairspray for long-lasting hold while maintaining the integrity of the style.”
