The Garden of Eden Comes to Life in LaQuan Smith’s SS27 Runway Hair With True Hair Company Extensions

Marking nearly a decade-long partnership, True Hair Company returned to the New York Fashion Week runway as the official hair sponsor for LaQuan Smith‘s Spring/Summer 2027 show. This season, Smith drew inspiration from the Garden of Eden, weaving exotic plumage, animal print, lustrous textures and lush, garden-like elements throughout the collection — and the hair, led by celebrity stylist Orlando Pita, was designed as an extension of that world.

The Overview

Across the runway, the team created four primary hair directions: leopard-print hair, a voluminous blowout, sleek slicked-back styles and a classic sculptural French twist. True Hair Company luxury clip-in extensions, ranging from 17in to 24in in blonde, brown and black, built out additional length, density and volume, while Mielle Haircare styling products delivered the high-shine. Then, the polished finish resulted from T3 hot tools that handled the shaping and smoothing.

Get the Look:

2. Thoroughly blow-dry the hair to create a smooth, completely dry foundation before styling.
