We’re Just Days Away from the Texture VS Race Summit ’24

03/14/2024

This year’s Texture VS Race Summit is a full hair show experience where attendees can connect with partner brands on the exhibit floor, participate in independent and branded education sessions, and attend a rotation of breakout sessions, classes, panels, and stage demonstrations. Founded by DEIB coach, industry-activist and NAHA-nominated educator Keya Neal, Texture VS Race Summit ’24 instruction focuses on the entire spectrum of texture.

Texture VS Race, the organization behind the TVR Summit, has a mission to assist stylists in honing their textural skills and building cultural competence, ultimately creating an inclusive beauty industry that embraces and celebrates texture and race both behind the chair and behind the scenes. Attendees of the summit will learn how to identify and care for all hair types. Most importantly, they’ll get “hands-on and hearts-open” technical education unlike anywhere else.

What to Expect

This 3-day summit for stylists and beauty professionals provides attendees with texturally-inclusive cut, color, and styling education alongside DEI coaching while connecting with Texture VS Race Summit sponsor partners. Attendee trainings include stage demonstrations, breakout classes, hands-on education, and the Texture VS Race Summit trademark Hydro Discovery Curl Clinic™ session.

  • Date: March 17th – 19th
  • Venue: Reginald F Lewis Museum, Baltimore, MD (830 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21202)

This year’s summit will feature even more ways to interact with and educate attendees, with more stages, breakout groups and additional classes. View the full Texture VS Race Summit ’24 event schedule here.
