Our Favorite Hairstyles From Coachella 2023

05/01/2023

Although Coachella is at its core a music festival, sometimes we can’t help but pay more attention to the looks than the actual music! Each year, our favorite celebrities (and their glam teams) go above and beyond with outfits, beauty, and hair, and this year was no different no different. Here are a few of our favorite festival hair looks from Coachella 2023!

Dixie D’Amelio

Celebrity hairstylist  Dimitris Giannetos proved that there are no limits to styling short haircuts this festival season, using TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio as his canvas. From a slicked look with graphic black accents, to extremely long pigtail braid extensions, Giannetos made the most of D’Amelio’s chic bleached pixie cut.

Saweetie

Celebrity hairstylist Kalief Wolfe installed and styled waist length extensions for Saweetie, which were hand painted by the extremely talented Jes Jewel. The teamwork paid off, and Saweetie’s pink rainbow heart extensions were one of the most head turning looks.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos also styled Alessandra Ambrosio, giving her a half up half down complete with colorful pink, orange and green highlights and we’re obsessed with this look.

Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X rocked extreme long hair at this year’s Coachella, and we were totally here for it. Celebrity hairstylist  Coree Moreno went above and beyond with Lil Nas X’s looks, creating a braided blowout pony and an iconic “Raver Shag” look. Moreno preaches the importance of using products to keep the scalp healthy whilst experimenting with different styles, and recommended using rice water micellar shampoos and conditioners to do so.

Olivia Culpo

Extra-long length was certainly a trend at  Coachella, and one that was owned by Olivia Culpo. Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos proves himself as the It-stylist for this year’s festival yet again with an extremely long slicked-back ponytail on Culpo. The look is true to Culpo’s chic and contemporary style, yet still is fun and fits the festival vibe!

Flo Milli

Flo Milli’s signature  hairstyle  took on a colorful new look at  Coachella, thanks to hairstylist KB. The singer’s classic bob with flipped ends was updated in a fun shade of vibrant purple for the music festival.

Ashnikko

Ashnikko’s debut Coachella performance look was eyecatching and futuristic, thanks to stylist  Zaheer Sukhnandan. Sukhnandan absolutely nailed a jaw dropping vibrant blue Jellyfish cut for the festival, one we will not forget anytime soon!

Latto

Latto stayed true to the core of the festival aesthetic with the help of hairstylist Ashanti Lation. Lation killed the sun-kissed, bohemian wave look, complete with a few baby braids.

Zendaya

Euphoria fans were in for a treat this Coachella when Zendaya made a surprise appearance during Labrinth’s set. Not only was she performing for the first time in years, she was seen without her bob, instead stunning with waist-length extensions!

Kali Uchis

Kali Uchis was the queen of Y2K this festival season during her weekend one performance. Stylist Davontae’ Washington nailed this half up half down look, complete with spiky buns, slicked bangs, and a blue butterfly clip.
