Earlier this month, ghd brought their famous glamour, education, and innovation to the Hollywood Hills to celebrate the launch of their newest product, the ghd Sculpt. Guests, who included renowned stylists, creators, and more were greeted through the doors to an infinity pool, live DJ, cocktails, food, multiple photo opportunities, and most importantly, live education and styling demonstrations.

The star of the night, the ghd Sculpt, is the brand’s first interactive styler designed to reshape the way we use heat on our hair. The live demonstrations also gave guests an exclusive in-depth look at how to use the new tool to create sleek yet voluminous styles. The best part: everyone left the night with a ghd Sculpt of their own.

What makes this tool so powerful is the state-of-the-art ghd Heat-Adapt technology, which is designed to adapt to the temperature of the hair in real time, rather than simply relying on a fixed plate temperature. This is done through the impressive use of four measurement systems and AI-powered technology. Sculpt uses this system to continuously learn and adjust its settings for a totally customized outcome every time. The tool adds more heat where needed and takes away heat whenever possible to minimize hair damage.
According to ghd’s global director of education, Dafydd Thomas, “ghd Sculpt feels like the future, goodbye plate temperature, hello hair temperature! With Heat‑Adapt technology, I know I’m always using the right temperature for the hair.”
Heat damage to hair is no joke, and this product offers the perfect solution. The brand states that the technology delivers zero heat damage (zero heat damage to the natural structure of the hair), as well as up to 90 percent more shine (as compared to naturally dried medium brown hair) and 2.5 times less frizz (as compared to naturally dried frizzy hair).

Throughout the night, the guests of the event had opportunities to network, try the tools, and inspire each other while simultaneously enjoying a stunning view that overlooked all of Los Angeles.

The event perfectly captured the essence of what ghd does best: creating a meaningful yet luxury experience in and out of the chair. They aren’t afraid to push boundaries and set new standards for hairstyling and haircare both in and out of the chair.
