When it comes to celebrity beauty brands, Halsey’s About-Face gets it right. Launched back in January, the makeup brand encourages self-expression and experimental glam through high quality, vegan products. Most recently, About-Face launched an exciting new collection of bold and bright colors perfect for the summer.
“There is a unique intensity, neutrality and wistful affection for the colors in my summer collection,” Halsey shared in a press release. “It’s dramatic, but familiar and approachable even if you have never tried an orange shadow. But beyond the color pay-off is the dreaminess and creaminess of these formulas that draw you in.”
From highlighter to lip gloss, here’s everything in About-Face’s new summer line.
Summer Shadowstick
The Summer Shadowstick is a matte eyeshadow stick that comes in three different shades for bold, all-over shading. “Ready Set Saffron” is a golden honey shade and “Butterfly Collective” is the perfect sunset orange, while “Aliens R Real” is a bright, leafy shade of green. The pigment-rich shadows cost $21, last all day long and never smudge! They even feature a built-in shaper for more defined, precise looks.
Summer Light Lock Lip Gloss
The Summer Light Lock Lip Gloss comes in three different translucent colors that provide a glass-like finish and a moisturizing formula. Made with coconut oil and a blend of peppermint and lavender, the glosses will leave lips feeling hydrated and soft. “Hot Honey” is a cute cotton candy pink, “Angel on Fire” is a gorgeous mauve, and “Not All At Once” is a crystal clear shade. Each gloss costs $20 and leaves you with the perfect amount of pigment.
Summer Light Lock Powder
Another product in About-Face’s new line is the Summer Light Lock Powder. The bronze highlighter provides a golden glimmer unlike any other. With a hint of holographic pink, the powder is super smooth and blends into most skin tones. It’s also buildable and never adds unwanted texture to the skin. For $30, the highlighting powder will leave you with a gorgeous, sun-kissed complexion.
Summer Light Lock Stick
One last product offering in the summer line is About-Face’s Summer Light Lock Stick. Similar to the powder, the highlighting stick comes in a bronze shade that looks great on everyone! The creamy formula contains light-refracting pigments that glide onto the skin for a glass-like, natural glow. It costs $25, is longwearing and never greasy. Not to mention, it’s infused with olive oil to keep skin smooth and nourished.
